MEETING OF THE WORSHIP TEAM, Tuesday November 12, 2019
Pastor Kevin called the meeting to order and opened with prayer.
Present: Dana Hartel, Pastor Kevin Heffernan, Sarah Miller, Lani Stanek, Jody Kell, Ellen Smolinski, Cindy Hendren, and Marge Kohl
Absent: Valerie Gulke and Kristen Woods, Dana Hartel, Pam Ulness, Holly Nelson
The following fall and winter schedules/worship services were discussed by the Worship Team:
Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service to be held at First Presbyterian Church on Monday November 25 at 6:30 pm. Lord of the Lakes will participate with St Mary’s and First Presbyterian in prayer and gratitude.
Lord of the Lakes will have a Gratitude Celebration for Thanksgiving on Sunday the 24th A request is made to bring a food item for the pantry and bring up to alter during service. This will tie in with the Sunday school project of feeding the homeless.
Church decorating will be done this year on Tuesday Morning at 9:00am. Judy Felberg has the theme in place. Potluck lunch will follow
Advent begins Dec 1st, this will be a Healing Service
We will be having a Soup and Service celebration on the three Wednesdays.
This year the theme will be focusing on those of the Nativity, expanding on their lives.
Christmas Services to be Traditional 4:00 & 6:00 pm Christmas Eve and 9am Christmas Day.
There being no further business, Pastor Keven adjourned the meeting with prayer. The Next meeting of the Worship Team is TBD
