Team Reports
Script Update by Gail: Responsibilities were discussed last night at a meeting. Meeting again next month.
Pastor’s Report: Been a good month! Had a wedding last weekend. Upcoming is Simple Hope event, Advent, another wedding, ecumenical Thanksgiving service with St. Mary’s, Christmas prep and decoration, and a community meal.
Buildings and Grounds: Thanks to everyone for a successful fall clean up. A new water heater has been ordered. LED project to start in November. Parking lot sealing is complete.
Worship: next meeting is in November.
Youth: Minneapolis has been chosen for the next mission trip.
Finance/Budget Summary: See Gail’s report for more details. Andy, Vern, and Doris did the year end budget review. Gail is asking that the Business Management Team meet 2-3 times per year to advise the Council.
Stewardship: Wayne to make announcements this Sunday about the new electronic giving. Letter went out with statements this week on envelop giving.
New Business
We discussed the Council Retreat. Christmas letter and bonus email to go out next month.
