Lord of the Lakes Church, Buildings & Grounds Meeting Minutes, January 9, 2018
Neil opened meeting at 6:32 P.M. The following were present: Neil Bjornstad, Warren Winter, Daryl Ramlow, Lou Zwicky, & Betts Nikolai
Monthly Maintenance:
- Back Flow Preventer Test due. Tim was to call, not sure if this has been set up.
- Furnace Filters to be changed in January. Per Tim have enough filters to complete.
- Youth Room floors need to be stripped and waxed. (Betts to check with Courtney about the tape on the floor.) Did talk to Courtney, they will remove tape and let us know when completed. Will set up time to strip and wax once this is complete.
HVAC:
- Still have had people commenting that Sanctuary is cold on Sunday mornings. Neil & Lou are going to try to observe system on Sunday morning to see if they can figure what is going on.
LED Lighting Upgrades:
- Daryl did do checking on 2018 rebates for Phase 2 upgrade. Nothing available to us. At this point we are going to hold and just finish up with the bulbs that need to be put in the gathering area that we have. The Parking lot light has been ordered so that will also be done. Daryl to contact Tom Zillges on Lift.
Security System:
- Neil to touch base with Geoff Hendren in regard to video system. Geoff to be in contact with Police Officer and set up meeting. At that time we would like to know what they would recommend as far as time frame for archiving.
Old Business
- Sprinkler System check was performed on 12/15/17. At that time there was a pipe that was frozen in ceiling area of front entrance area. Pipe was pulled out, thawed and put back in. It was thought to be from condensation. Next inspection is due in March, will check out at that time. Bill came in around $800.00
- Betts did touch base with Jill on quote for new vacuum cleaner. Darlene had gotten a quote and I did send that to Neil. However we can disregard, as the vacuum cleaner was donated. Donors wish to remain anonymous.
