The DM1612 from Lectrosonics is a digital audio processor, that shares many of the DSP functions common in the marketplace, but with a very comprehensive routing system that allows any input to be patched to any single or multiple outputs simultaneously. Primary applications include sound reinforcement, boardroom conferencing, houses of worship, courtrooms and hotels. Any place which requires the use of multiple microphones and loudspeakers. The unit provides 16 microphone/line inputs, 12 line outputs (4 switchable to microphone output) with each input possessing a fixed sequence of multiple DSP filters, ADFE (automatic digital feedback eliminator), a compressor and a digital delay. The unit can be programmed from the front-panel or via Windows software and a RS232 or USB equipped computer. Remote hardware control is also possible once the initial set-up is complete.
