Brad states he has worked on many of those several times.\u00a0 The blinds are heavy and the cord systems don\u2019t support the size\/weight on some of them.\u00a0 Blinds originally put in by Lowe\u2019s.\u00a0 Jan will research when we had them put in with thoughts of perhaps it\u2019s time to budget for replacement.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Basement Partitions<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 Done!\u00a0 Look great, makes a huge difference and Brad is actually able to get at his desk and has a workspace.\u00a0 He\u2019s added hooks so Scouts and Youth may hang things up to better utilize space.\u00a0 Team members who haven\u2019t seen them \u2013 go down and look.\u00a0 Thanks Brad and Rick for all the work on them.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Canopy Soffit<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 Fixed by Brad and finances settled with VanZealand\u2019s<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Sanctuary HVAC<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 Gartman made the repair at end of December but one part they ordered was wrong.\u00a0 Reordering and will call Brad and return to complete project when new part comes in.\u00a0 In addition, they will come in Spring to do start-up as AC season approaches.\u00a0 Jan worked with Gartman\u2019s office\/billing person so we could pay the entire bill on the 2021 budget even though the project is not entirely done at this time.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Highway Sign<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 Wayne Ludkey, now Council President will continue to be the contact person with Creative Signs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wayne requesting appropriate B&amp;G members set a time to do Site Survey for sign ASAP. Determined key players are Brad, Ben, and Daryl.\u00a0 Since Daryl not at this meeting, Ben will contact him and when date\/time determined he will notify Wayne.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Creative willing to do a demonstration when done with survey and key players for that portion: Ben, Brad, Daryl, Wayne, Pr Kevin, Ellen and Gail from office, and anyone else who is interested.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><u>Parking lot lights\/snow plowing<\/u><\/strong>: Dave Wachtendonk works for Zillges and our lot is one of his assignments.\u00a0 When there is snow prior to Sunday AM, he plows about 4 am.\u00a0 He has a concern about the darkness and backing into one of the light poles.\u00a0 Various \u2018fixes\u2019 discussed.\u00a0 <u>Post meeting<\/u>: Zillges put a light board on his truck plus he now has a building entry key and will go to the basement and manually turn the lights on if needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Vacuum Cleaners<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 The oldest one not working but unplugged by Darlene.\u00a0 Jan instructed her to take into Oshkosh Vacuum to determine needs to upgrade and if cost near $100 or greater to \u2018scrap\u2019 it. Darlene did that and cost was approx. $90.\u00a0 She left it with Oshkosh Vac to use for parts.\u00a0 The newer Rikker is working but per Amy Penza (cleaning for Darlene while Darlene is on Medical Leave) it\u2019s heavy and it takes multiple passes to get it to pick up.\u00a0 She is requesting a Shark which articulates much better, is lighter weight and more efficient to use, and draws much better from the grout in the tile floors.\u00a0 At this time, Amy is bringing her own Shark to use.\u00a0 Ben offered to donate their Kirby but Amy is declining due to the heaviness of those.\u00a0 Ben states they also have a Disson that his wife may be willing to donate but unsure of status<strong><u>.\u00a0 Post meeting<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 Amy has lead on a Shark she feels will work well for our needs, on a great sale &#8212; $200 or less.\u00a0 Permission given to purchase.\u00a0 Amy to leave Rikker available.\u00a0 Darlene is recommending Oshkosh Vac as a service company when needed in the future for any repairs.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Cleaning building<\/u><\/strong>: per contract, Darlene is given 4-5 hours per week to clean entire building.\u00a0 That has worked most recently because of Covid, there has not been the building use as previous.\u00a0 However, as we ramp back up to more use, Amy is suggesting we increase that to at least 6 hours in order to not have to \u2018cut corners\u2019 and get a more thorough job.\u00a0 Likely will need to wait till next Budget cycle but Jan will address that with Council.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong><u>Garbage Pick-Up<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 Done by Lou and ready to go in mid-March.\u00a0 Lou will pull GFL\u2019s dumpsters out at appropriate time and see that they are picked up by GFL. Since we had previously signed a contract with LaForce, Kate will send a letter informing them that due to their non-response re: getting this scheduled, we have determined we need to go with another company.<\/p><p><strong><u>Sanctuary Ceiling<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 While Steve from Albright was here, he looked at our Sanctuary Ceiling.\u00a0 He says it can be spray painted with a newer type paint, that will not add much weight.\u00a0 He will be sending a quote.\u00a0 The alternative is to purchase the appropriate paint, rent the lift, etc. and Ed will donate the labor to do it.\u00a0 We have no timeline.<\/p><p><strong><u>Deferred Maintenance and\/or Replacement<\/u><\/strong>: Kate is asking that various items be looked at by a Vendor for estimated longevity and a quote for the purpose of hopefully building an emergency fund so we can repair\/replace as needs occur or be proactive prior to having a crisis. The following will be looked at:<\/p><ul><li>Youth Room \u2013 get quotes for upgrading basement including egress window, etc. vs adding a manufactured home vs a stick addition<\/li><li>Parking lot sealing and resurfacing<\/li><li>Roof repair\/replacement<\/li><li>Siding repair\/replacement<\/li><li>All flooring repair\/replacement \u2013 Betts meeting with A.
