Building and Grounds January 2021\u00a0 No Meeting this Month<\/p>\n
The team has not met in January do to lack of need.\u00a0 Major issues are taken care of and Brad is continuing to work with ongoing issues like water heater, covering over sound system, miscellaneous changing out of light bulbs, etc. as well as routine maintenance.\u00a0 It is really nice to have a person in that role who sees needs and goes ahead and does what he needs to do.<\/p>\n
Kate Pfaendtner has resigned as Team Leader — thank you Kate for your time and diligence, Especially recently with a couple major issues.\u00a0 If you see her, please thank her.<\/p>\n
So we are looking for a new Team Leader for B&G<\/strong>.\u00a0 It is a good team where everyone who has an area of special interest\/expertise simply jumps in and helps out.\u00a0 Jan and Betts serve as Recorders and so records and communication will continue as is.\u00a0 Please consider this need! <\/strong>We meet monthly, Sept. through May unless like this January we feel we don’t need to have a meeting. Since we had previously signed a contract with LaForce, Kate will send a letter informing them that due to their non-response re: getting this scheduled, we have determined we need to go with another company.<\/p> Sanctuary Ceiling<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0 While Steve from Albright was here, he looked at our Sanctuary Ceiling.\u00a0 He says it can be spray painted with a newer type paint, that will not add much weight.\u00a0 He will be sending a quote.\u00a0 The alternative is to purchase the appropriate paint, rent the lift, etc. and Ed will donate the labor to do it.\u00a0 We have no timeline.<\/p> Deferred Maintenance and\/or Replacement<\/u><\/strong>: Kate is asking that various items be looked at by a Vendor for estimated longevity and a quote for the purpose of hopefully building an emergency fund so we can repair\/replace as needs occur or be proactive prior to having a crisis.
