Pastor\u2019s Report: a busy last month with many activities.\u00a0 Looking forward to sabbatical.<\/p>\n
Buildings & Grounds: \u00a0Phase I of LED lighting project has been complete and we received the rebate to put towards Phase II.\u00a0 We have a free lift rental courtesy of Tom Z.\u00a0 Fire Inspections were complete this week and they had to repair a pipe for the sprinkler system.\u00a0 Rope on flag pole needs to be replaced.\u00a0 Pastor Kevin spoke with Chief of Police and he agreed camera surveillance for security would be a good idea.\u00a0 Bill has asked Buildings & Grounds to put together some pricing.<\/p>\n
Worship:\u00a0 Prepared for Christmas.\u00a0 Team will reconvene next year.<\/p>\n
Youth:\u00a0 Thank you to the youth and directors for the wonderful Christmas program.\u00a0 Drew continued the discussion from last month\u2026\u00a0 Youth Works is the company that completes the mentors\u2019 background checks for the youth mission trips.<\/p>\n
Finances\/Budget:\u00a0 See Gail\u2019s report.\u00a0 Giving was down, but thankful for a generous donation to help us rebound.<\/p>\n
Stewardship:\u00a0 There will be a subtle giving message in the upcoming church bulletin.<\/p>\n
Old Business<\/p>\n
Estate Money:\u00a0 We will continue to think about how we can use the money we have been generously given.<\/p>\n
Church Directory:\u00a0 scheduled for April.<\/p>\n
New Business<\/p>\n
Line of credit:\u00a0 Question proposed as to whether we should extend our line of credit or not?\u00a0 Council members all agreed to extend for emergency purposes.\u00a0 Geoff will complete the paperwork.<\/p>\n
Council Brunch: set for February 11th<\/sup> after second service.\u00a0 Council responsible for the main course and members bring a dish to pass.\u00a0 A sign up sheet to follow.<\/p>\n Social Media:\u00a0 Wayne discussed the difficulty navigating and finding information on our website\/facebook page.\u00a0 We will ask for a volunteer to help update these things.<\/p>\n Closing prayer by Pastor Kevin.<\/p>\n ***Next Meeting will be adjusted to January 23rd<\/sup>.
