Attendance: Kerry Arent, Geoff\u00a0 Hendren, Gail Gardner, Joe Groholski, Pastor Kevin, Bill Grau, Wayne Ludkey, Kari Nigl, Ken Mueller<\/p>\n
Team Reports<\/strong><\/p>\n Pastor\u2019s Report: August and September have been busy with weddings and funerals.<\/p>\n Buildings and Grounds:\u00a0 Tim White was hired as our new maintenance position.\u00a0 The parking lot repair is underway.\u00a0 LED lights plan – see below.<\/p>\n Worship: Exciting fall is planned and underway.\u00a0 October, Pastor will preach on the Reformation 500 year Anniversary. Thanksgiving service will be at St Mary\u2019s. Discussion about Advent has begun.<\/p>\n Youth: Courtney has a large group of junior high kids this year. Drew Jaeger, Tom Schell, and John Walsh are assisting with large youth group.\u00a0 Running event for girls youth being held 9\/19\/17. \u00a0New Sunday School model to be trialed next month. Meeting tomorrow night.<\/p>\n Finance\/Budget Summary:\u00a0 We did budget for a $4038 loss YTD and our actual income YTD is $3343.\u00a0 See Gail\u2019s report for more details.<\/p>\n Stewardship: Share and Care program will focus on 1 or 2 larger, unbudgeted projects at a time.\u00a0 These special gifts should not replace general giving.<\/p>\n New Business<\/strong><\/p>\n Electronic Giving:\u00a0 Is available on our website. Council voted and passed all electronic donations will be paid out at the net rate, not the gross rate (minus the bank fees).\u00a0 This will be added to our financial policies.\u00a0 Pull down list\/Options are:\u00a0 General Offering, Mortgage\/Debt Reduction, Where Needed Most, Lutheran Disaster and Hurricane Relief<\/p>\n Irma, Harvey, and other disasters: Wayne to look into a future adult mission trip to disaster areas.<\/p>\n Council Retreat: Brennand Airport on Sept 30th<\/sup> at 0900.\u00a0 Address: 3282 Breezewood Ln, Neenah.<\/p>\n Wedding Fees: \u00a0have been revised and increased to reflect local rates.<\/p>\n Pastoral Sabbatical: discussed and council approves for 2018.<\/p>\n Mailer program: for new area residents.
