{"id":1932,"date":"2017-02-22T17:07:54","date_gmt":"2017-02-22T17:07:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lordofthelakes.net\/?p=1932"},"modified":"2017-02-22T17:07:54","modified_gmt":"2017-02-22T17:07:54","slug":"february-2017-building-and-grounds-minutes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lordofthelakes.net\/index.php\/2017\/02\/22\/february-2017-building-and-grounds-minutes\/","title":{"rendered":"February 2017 Building and Grounds minutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lord of the Lakes Church,\u00a0Buildings &amp; Grounds Meeting Minutes,\u00a0February 13, 2017<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Neil opened meeting at 6:40 P.M.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The following were present: Neil Bjornstad, Dennis Cartwright, Daryl Ramlow, Warren Winter, Lou Zwicky, Joe Groholski, &amp; Betts Nikolai<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Maintenance Tasks: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Backflow Preventer test Neil to contack Kascade Plumbing to set up.<\/li>\n<li>5 year Fire Sprinkler Inspection Neil to set up appt. in March to coincide with Quarterly Inspection.<\/li>\n<li>Lighting Repairs Daryl is taking care of this.\u00a0 He will rent boom lift. This was scheduled for Friday, 2\/17, however parts will not be in so this will be rescheduled. \u00a0\u00a0Warren will come to help.\u00a0 Also discussed starting to change out lights and switch to LED.\u00a0 This is more expensive, but in the long run will save on Electrical bill.\u00a0 Daryl suggested we start by doing one or two rooms at a time.\u00a0 He will do some investigating on pricing. We can then get the information to Council.<\/li>\n<li>Daryl will replace canopy lights with LED lights. This will be done at the time the boom is rented.\u00a0 There will be no cost to the Church.\u00a0\u00a0 (Thank You Daryl!!)<\/li>\n<li>Furnace Filters were changed in January by Warren. He will take care of ordering more filters.\u00a0\u00a0 Thank You Warren!!<\/li>\n<li>Roof Exhauster Air Handlers: Need to check Belts\u00a0\u00a0 (located on roof by Sanctuary &amp; Bathrooms.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>HVAC:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Terry Korus did report that Computer that ProLon Program is on died. This was loaded on Jill\u2019s computer, so probably a blessing in that it probably should be on a different one than Jill\u2019s.\u00a0 Terry will be talking to Prolon to get help reloading this on a new computer.\u00a0\u00a0 Terry will continue to work on training documentation, and will keep us posted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Old Business:\u00a0 <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintenance Position\u2026 Waiting to hear from Council<\/li>\n<li>Jill would like someone at the Church about 2 hours a week. Lou, Warren, Daryl, &amp; Dennis have been helping out when they can.\u00a0\u00a0 Thank you guys for all you do!!\u00a0 You are appreciated!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>New Business:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spring Clean-up Date set for Sunday May, 21 after 2<sup>nd<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Betts to check with Jill on Fire Extinguishers\u2026 Who does this<\/li>\n<li>Betts to check with Darlene on Carpet Cleaning product.<\/li>\n<li>Lou is investigating Contracts &amp; Pricing on Garbage \/Recycle.
