{"id":1913,"date":"2017-02-09T13:51:46","date_gmt":"2017-02-09T13:51:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lordofthelakes.net\/?p=1913"},"modified":"2017-02-09T13:51:46","modified_gmt":"2017-02-09T13:51:46","slug":"building-grounds-minutes-january-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lordofthelakes.net\/index.php\/2017\/02\/09\/building-grounds-minutes-january-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Building &#038; Grounds minutes, January 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Lord of the Lakes Church<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Buildings &amp; Grounds Meeting Minutes,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>January 23, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Neil opened meeting at 6:31 P.M.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The following were present: Neil Bjornstad, Dennis Cartwright, Daryl Ramlow, Warren Winter, Joe Groholski, &amp; Betts Nikolai<\/p>\n<p>NOTE**\u00a0\u00a0 December 2016 meeting was cancelled due to weather.\u00a0 It was decided to cancel Building &amp; Grounds December meeting totally and meet at our next scheduled Monthly meeting that was due to take place on January 10, 2017.\u00a0 January 10th meeting was cancelled due to weather &amp; rescheduled for January 23.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Maintenance Tasks:\u00a0\u00a0 December &amp; January<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strip &amp; Wax floors in Sanctuary &amp; Youth Room. This will be done at Spring Clean-Up<\/li>\n<li>Furnace Filters were not changed Warren to take care of.<\/li>\n<li>Backflow preventer test, Neil to call Kascade Plumbing to schedule.<\/li>\n<li>5 Year Fire Sprinkler Inspection due. Last done in 2011.\u00a0 Our quarterly Inspection is due in March 2017.\u00a0 Neil to call and coincide the two of these somewhere around March 14<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Furnace filter inventory. Warren to take inventory, compare pricing, and order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Old Business:\u00a0 <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Camp fire area, Volley Ball Court, &amp; Raised garden. Recommendation that these all be removed if they are not being used.\u00a0 Joe G.\u00a0 said that these areas would probably be where prairie garden would be.\u00a0 Joe to address with Council.<\/li>\n<li>Oak Tree in Parking lot was trimmed, and wood removed.<\/li>\n<li>HVAC parts &#8211; per John he cannot sell as they are used, could put on Craig\u2019s list but a lot of work.\u00a0 It was decided to get all parts in one area, (basement) and recycle.\u00a0 This will be done at Spring Clean-up.<\/li>\n<li>HVAC &#8211; System training \u2013 no word from Terry Korus at this time.<\/li>\n<li>Joe G. will be taking care of the Flag.\u00a0 He and Warren will check out Flags that are in the Basement.\u00a0 If they are not in good condition he will take care of getting a new one and getting it up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><\/u><strong><u>New Business:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kate P. offered to donate a new garbage disposal to church. This was okayed by team.<\/li>\n<li>Betts to contact Jill to have her send the Yearly Maintenance Schedule to Neil. (Need to add Inspection &amp; cleaning of Grease Trap Pit).\u00a0 To be done every 2-3 years.\u00a0 Look at yearly and evaluate.\u00a0\u00a0 (Done 2\/09\/16)<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance Position.
